Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the iClipSora website, editor, accounts and related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated under the name iClipSora by a self-employed individual registered in the Republic of Latvia (“we”, “us”), reachable at iclipsora@gmail.com. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

iClipSora is a browser-based tool for creating animated mock-up videos of chat conversations. Videos are rendered and encoded on your own device and are never uploaded to us. You can use the editor without an account.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if higher, to create an account or buy a plan. If you buy a plan on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.

3. Accounts

An account is needed to buy a plan and to save projects in the cloud. Give a valid e-mail address, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use. An account is personal: do not share it or let others use your plan. You can delete your account at any time on the Account page; deleting it cancels any active subscription and removes your saved projects.

4. Plans

• Free — all templates, 720p exports with a visible iClipSora watermark.
• Pro — a one-time purchase giving lifetime access, for your account, to exports without the watermark and in 1080p.
• Creator and Studio — monthly subscriptions adding the features described on the Pricing page. Studio additionally grants the commercial rights described in section 8.

Paid features are linked to your account and unlock in the editor wherever you are signed in. We may suspend a plan obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these Terms.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. and its affiliates (“Stripe”). Prices are shown in euros and are the final prices you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically every month until cancelled. You can cancel or change your subscription at any time under “Manage billing” on the Account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and paid features remain available until then. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it; if it keeps failing, the subscription ends.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have the right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content or services within 14 days. Because your plan starts immediately, before checkout you are asked to expressly agree that performance begins straight away and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has begun.

Pro — 7-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied, write to us within 7 days of purchase from the e-mail of your account and we will refund the full amount; Pro is then removed from your account. Subscriptions: you can cancel at any time; except where required by law, payments for a billing period that has already started are not refunded. Your statutory rights for faulty digital content are not affected.

7. Acceptable use

Videos created with iClipSora are fictional mock-ups. You agree not to use the Service or its output to:

• deceive, defraud or scam any person, including presenting a mock-up as a genuine conversation, receipt, payment or other record;
• impersonate a real person or organisation, or attribute statements to a real person that they did not make;
• create false evidence, harass, threaten, defame or bully anyone;
• spread misinformation, or publish content that infringes the rights of others or violates any applicable law or platform rules;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service, share your account, or remove watermarks by technical means.

You are solely responsible for the content you create and publish, and for complying with the rules of the platforms on which you publish it, including any requirement to label dramatised or simulated content.

8. Templates, trademarks and commercial use

Some templates evoke the visual style of third-party messaging apps. iClipSora is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by the owners of those apps, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners. Templates that recreate real apps may be used only for your own entertainment, commentary or parody content, including monetised posts on your own channels. They are not licensed for advertising, sponsored content or work produced for clients on any plan.

The Studio plan grants a non-exclusive license to use videos made with the brand-free templates (AI Assistant Chat, Text Chat, Lock Screen Notifications and Dating Swipe) in advertising and in work produced for clients, provided the subscription was active when the video was exported.

9. Your content

You keep all rights to the text, images and other material you put into the editor and to the videos you export, subject to the rights of third parties. If you are signed in, your project drafts are stored in your account only so that we can show them back to you; we do not review, use or share them for any other purpose. You are responsible for having the right to use any photos you add.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service, including its software, designs, templates and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the licenses expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

11. Availability and changes

We may update, improve or discontinue features of the Service. Previously exported videos are unaffected. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to paid plans, and a price change for a subscription applies only from your next billing period after notice.

12. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will work with every browser or device or will be uninterrupted.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any content you create or publish. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from content you create or publish with the Service or from your breach of these Terms.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. If you have a complaint, please contact us first — most issues are solved quickly by e-mail.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. For material changes we will notify account holders by e-mail before they take effect.
